Description
Another of my Eye on Ground series, these are discovery paintings that I do after following my muse on an artist’s date for an hour one week. This is a must for artists to generate creativity, according to Julia Cameron who wrote The Artist’s Way. This is what I saw:
I loved the blued concrete colors with the little sand-colored pebbles peeking out. I loved the layers of water, with the white-edged endings. And I simply adored the bright earth-red of the leaves that had dropped with the occasional piece of pine straw. It seemed the water was chasing the autumn leaves playfully in my favorite season of the year, the fall. Paintings on the ground proclaim the seasons, the fleeting nature of beauty chased by the elements.
