Antique Mushrooms (Granny’s Wardrobe)

These are furniture button pulls from an antique dresser that survived into the second century and deserved a place in art because of it. They are from the dresser that went with the bed my father’s father handcrafted and that we recently had restored.

Metallic Gel Pens on Black Photographic Paper.

This is an experimental technique and I know of no one else who has tried it, and especially not by using the overlapping crosshatching and modeling technique that I use, taught by a Master in Munich, Germany. These drawings actually shine under light and change their mien as the light changes, and have a modern but antique look that is quite classy. They are framed under Clear glass which blocks out UV rays. These drawings/paintings are original and copyrighted.
