Metallic Gel Pens on Black Photographic Paper.

This is an experimental technique using overlapping crosshatching and modeling, giving the look of 3-dimensionality. The drawings change in character and actually shine under light as the direction of the light changes. I like the contemporary and yet, antique, look. The series began as twelve pieces. The classy look makes them welcome anywhere. The subject matter is a conversation piece. There are only six left in the set.
